TRAVEL INFORMATION

  1. To prevent food and water-borne diseases, avoid raw or undercooked food and drink only bottled or purified water.

  2. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer before eating and after using public facilities.

  3. Carry enough prescription medication for the entire trip and keep it in the original packaging including the prescription

  4. Make sure routine vaccinations are up to date before travelling.

  5. Use insect repellent and wear long sleeves in mosquito-prone areas to reduce the risk of insect-borne diseases.

  6. Apply sunscreen regularly and wear a hat to protect against sunburn and heat exposure.

  7. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of safe fluids, especially in hot climates.

  8. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, as it may increase the risk of accidents and dehydration.

  9. Wear comfortable shoes and move around regularly during long trips to improve blood circulation.

  10. Keep a small travel health kit with basic medications, plasters, antiseptic cream, and pain relievers.

  11. Avoid swimming in unsafe or contaminated water sources to reduce the risk of infections.

  12. Practise safe sex and use protection to prevent sexually transmitted infections.

  13. Store emergency contact numbers and travel insurance information in an easily accessible place.

  14. Be cautious with street food and choose food that is freshly cooked and served hot.

  15. If feeling unwell during or after travel, seek medical attention promptly and inform the healthcare provider about recent travel history.
